The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed in regards to the significant amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support point established for intervention activities a large inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA website will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all prospects and boost usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
